The Master's Touch

Everyone who reads this is probably thinking about the song "The Master's Touch" but it actually is about something a little different. As many know my wife Heidie and I have added a mudroom to our house and we are currently working on getting the insides done. I ran the wiring, added the insulation and hung the drywall with my father-in-law's help. Since then I have been working on the worst part as far as I am concerned. I have been doing the taping and sanding to get the room ready to paint. It is a tedious and dusty process. I am close to being done. I am trying to make sure it is all good without imperfections. I know one thing for sure about this process. I am not a master!

I realize that a master at dry walling would most likely be done by now and it would look flawless. Since I am not a master but an okay guy, I know I have to take so much more time to do it. I continually have to redo some spots because I see the tape or screws showing through. I want to make this room turn out really nice for my wife and I. As I was working on it the other night I began to think about what God does in our lives. We are definitely a work in progress. He is constantly doing things in our lives to change us and make us to become more like His Son. The work He is doing doesn't happen overnight but is  throughout our lives. He is constantly sanding away to smooth out our flaws and adding other things to fill our lives with those things that will enable us to become the people He wants us to be. But as we all know, it is not always pleasant to go through the sanctification process. Sometimes it is very painful but always necessary. But one thing we know for sure is this. God is the Master and He knows what He is doing and what He wants to accomplish. If we allow Him to do what He wants, we will turn out as a beautiful finished person much like a room that has been done by a professional contractor. God is very concerned about the details and knows how to deal with all them. We need to allow God to take full control of our lives and let the Master do what only He can do. This is the part most people struggle with when it comes to faith. They don't want to give up their own wills. The only problem is their way ends in failure but God's way leads to a beautiful masterpiece.

So as I finish up  my mudroom I look eagerly for the way it will look when I am done and people see it for the first time. I would rather hear "Wow! What a great looking room! " than hear " Who did this mess?". Nothing is more disappointing to me then doing a job and doing it poorly. So I will take my time and make it look good. So how about your life? Is it in your control or is it in the hands of the Master? I trust you will allow Him to touch your life with His touch!

Making Choices- Toug

Making Life's Choices- Tough and Right

Today I will be doing something that I always hate to do. This action I must take today has been taken by me several times now over the years. I had to make an appointment with a vet for two of my bunnies, Stewart and Goliath, to have them put down. As any loving pet owner knows, there comes that time when you need to  love your pets enough to let them go and not make them suffer. This is such a time for my wife and I. Both the bunnies are over eight years so they have lived a long life for their breeds. Choosing to do this is the right choice but it is also very tough. But there are other choices we have to make in our lives that have a far reaching eternal effect which we must make and no one else can make them for us.

Choices! We all make choices about a lot of different things in our lives. What do I want to do for  a living? What school will I attend? Who should I marry? On and on we continually have to make choices that directly impact our life and our future. Some choices we face are easy to make. Others are less clear while others are very difficult to make not matter who we are. Some choices we have to make although the correct ones can be very hard to make. It is those choices that always seem to be the ones that usually play a very big part in who we are and what we become. We need to be able to make wise choices and do the right thing or we will end up making poor choices and messing up our lives. I believe that as Christians we need to count the cost of following Jesus no matter people say or do to us because of our faith. It is not always easy standing up to be counted when things are tough. We need to honor God with our lives and we only do that by staying true to Him even in the midst of every difficulty we face. We choose to either be faithful or to move away from God in those times. Think about what Christ suffered when He was crucified! He could have backed out but didn't. He stayed the course and was and has been glorified because He was faithful. We need to follow His example and not be afraid to choose God's plan for our lives no matter the cost! In today's world, it is the time for all believers to choose to be obedient and no longer be afraid to proclaim that we are indeed disciples of Jesus and will not be silenced when it comes to our faith. The world needs to hear the Truth so let's make a choice to speak up and refuse to be silenced anymore!

What choices have you made lately when it comes to your soul? Have you chosen to allow God to have your life and let Him do what He wants to do in and through you? I firmly believe that the time is short before Christ returns for His own. The Bible tells us "Choose this day whom you will serve. But as for me and my house we will serve the Lord!"  Once your time is over, you can't go back to do it over! Just as I have had to decide to put my bunnies down to stop there suffering, allowing God to take control of our lives will lead to His blessing our lives beyond what we can ever imagine! Pain may last for a short time but joy will last forever! We will miss you Stewart and Goliath!

How Do You keep A Preacher From Preaching?

Looking for a punchline? Unfortunately there is no punchline because this is not a joke or a laughing matter. I read yesterday about an Air Force chaplain who is in trouble for writing something on the base's web page. The thing that really makes me upset is that it was written in the Chaplain's Corner of the webpage. He wrote an article stating that there were no atheists in foxholes. This is not a new statement but has been shared over and over through the years by many chaplains. But now some atheists took offense and got the post removed and now want him punished for his faith. So how did we come to this in the military?

As I read the article I had some questions come to my mind about the incident. The first question I had was if this post was in the Chaplain's corner, why were atheists reading it if they don't believe in God or religion? They read the post which was there for those who believe in God and are looking for help to strengthen their faith. The chaplain is there to provide spiritual counsel for those who need it and to preach the gospel to the those who are lost. During my tenure in the Air Force, the chaplains did just that. They would write articles for the base newspapers sharing things of faith. If you didn't believe in what they did, you skipped over the post and read the other stuff. I believe the atheists are trying to shut the mouths of chaplains because they disagree with their faith. That now leads me to the second question I had. Have we gotten so far away from where this country started that now Christians no longer have the right to share their faith publicly? This is what the chaplaincy is now facing. Many chaplains have now been told that they cannot share their faith publicly but must not offend anyone who does not believe what they do. So here is the whole crux of the problem. The atheists and every other group can go out and say whatever they want and force us to accept their beliefs and tolerate it but we as Christians can no longer share our faith because people find it offensive. The Bible said that the Gospel would be an offense so we shouldn't be surprised when we start to hear and read posts like this. This makes me even more determined not to have my my shut but to get even louder and share the gospel even more so. Christians over the years have gone through this before so please don't think this is something new for the Church! We have never experienced it here in this country really until now.

This issue is not just in the military but becoming more common generally in this nation. I have told folks before that one day I or other preachers may one day be arrested for preaching the gospel and have it called "hate speech". Ironic isn't? If we really hated these folks we would just let them continue down the path to Hell but we love them too much to not let them know they can avoid eternity without Christ! I  believe that God is still moving because we are still here!

God's View of Marriage is Illegal

This country is steadily and slowly turning away from God and the laws which He declared. It seems like every time His laws come into conflict with what a few in society want God loses. Today the Defense of Marriage Act and Proposition 8 banning gay marriage were both struck down as unconstitutional by the supreme court. My heart breaks every time things like this happens because I know what is in store for this country. These same people who want to be able to do whatever they want and think that God will continue to bless this nation. How mistaken they are! We now stand in judgment from God as we as a nation have rejected Him and His standards.

Our nation has gone from a nation that was founded on godly and biblical principles to a nation that wants to separate itself from the Creator. Revisionist historians have been trying to wipe out the truth  by rewriting history. They claim the forefathers never thought about Christianity when they were founding this nation. They will have to eliminate just about every building in DC and rebuild to remove all the references to God and the Bible which are found in DC. Even the Supreme Court has the Ten Commandments found in their room. This is the very same room where they declared that having the 10 commandments in our schools was unconstitutional! This same court said that murder of unborn children was a constitutional right of women and since that time millions of unborn children have been executed by abortion doctors for no other reason than the fact they were not wanted. Most of those  were aborted simply because they were an inconvenience. There are more laws on the books that protect animals than that protect the unborn. Now marriage as defined by God  has been  determined by the supreme court to be unconstitutional and that the standards which God has set up can no longer be adhered to publicly. I wonder what this minority of people who are living a perverse lifestyle will tell God when they stand before the ultimate Supreme Judge when He passes His judgment on them? Nothing anyone can say will ever justify their sin before God! The thing that saddens me the most is the fact that they want to be able to marry like a man and a woman and end up in Hell for all eternity. Christ died for their sin as He did for everyone else yet they refuse to accept His sacrifice. God is love but He is also just and holy and because of that everyone who dies in their sin will be held accountable. God doesn't want anyone to perish but all come to repentance and eternal life! God does not change His standards. The world can change its standards all they want but ultimately God will prevail because He is God Almighty and eternal where this world id temporal and will pass away.

We need to pray for God's forgiveness for this nation. Just as Israel turned their back on God and faced judgment, who are we to expect something different when we do as they did? This should be a wake up call for us as believers to not only pray but begin to take a stand for what is righteous and holy no matter the cost, Time is short! Lets redeem this time for God's glory and His kingdom! After all folks, we are on the right side no matter what the supreme court tells us! Lets pray for those who are lost that they will come to Christ and have their lives changed!

The Problem With Birdbaths

Birdbaths are a great way to watch birds and to offer them some refreshing during the hot sweaty days of summer. Of course I don't know if birds sweat but I sure do when I am out in the hot sun. I noticed tonight the birdbath was low on water so I grabbed my bucket and got some water to put in the birdbath. I noticed the water was pretty dirty so I emptied the birdbath and cleaned it with a brush. There was some algae growing in it along with some bird doo  plus some things I am not sure what they were. I then filled it back up with some fresh water and it looked really inviting. As I was cleaning the birdbath I began to think about our lives and how easily our lives can become full of dirt and polluted with all kinds of garbage. We can become just like the birdbath.

As I was cleaning the birdbath, I was thinking of what my life used to be like before I knew Christ. I was a sinner who had sin that needed to be dealt with by God. So when I accepted Christ as my Savior He began to cleanse me from my sin and gave me a new Spirit to dwell inside of me. Much like the birdbath, we can end up with all sorts of garbage in our lives from all sorts of things and even people. Our lives need to be cleaned on a regular basis if we want them to stay clean. If I want the water in the birdbath and even the birdbath itself to stay clean I need to get clean it on a daily basis. We are admonished in the Word to crucify our flesh daily. What does that mean for us as believers? It means we have to give up our desires and our plans everyday and allow ourselves to be controlled by God and following His plans and not ours. We need to put Christ first in everything. The Holy Spirit is there to help us walk the paths of righteousness And when we do we keep ourselves pure and spotless when it comes to fleshly desires. We have to choose to keep pure and clean before God. I thank God that He loves us and wants to provide everything we need and He does cleans us from all our sin if we only ask Him. But oh how easy it easy sometimes to slack off doing things we ought and end up dirty and full of stuff we don't really want. The sad thing sometimes we settle for the dirty polluted water of this earth and lose out on the clean refreshing water God has for us. I just cannot imagine how God must feel when we opt to be a dirty birdbath when He is there to help us stay clean before Him.

I had no sooner got the birdbath clean and refilled with cool water and walked away when I saw some finches come to the birdbath and begin to drink. They are picky and will not use the birdbath when it is dirty. So here is the big question for you today. Are you willing to be a dirty birdbath and not offer the world anything of value or are you willing to be a clean birdbath and offer refreshing living water to those around you? And in today's world, people are seeking the living water that fills us even if they don't know it yet!

The Bug or the Worm? Hummmm

I was watching a robin having a problem yesterday.
He was trying to eat a beetle of some sort and then saw a worm crawling nearby where I was standing. The bird came right over to grab the worm but before he did he saw the bug trying to crawl  away. He immediately went after it forgetting about the worm. Suddenly he came back at the worm and tried to get both of them but couldn't figure out how to have both of them. The bird reminds me of Christians who go for the things of God but are also drawn away by what the world offers.

The issue is when we try to please God and please the world we do not please either. We cannot have what the world offers and what God offers to us. The world offers things that do not satisfy or that will last when it comes to eternity. The garbage the world has will be burnt up and those who accumulate these things will find out the emptiness these things give. The world reminds me of the bug the robin was trying to get before he saw the worm. The bug was small and didn't offer much that was edible for the robin. The worm however was a nice big, big fat worm and offered a lot more than the bug. The robin saw the worm and the bug. Instead of trying to just go after the worm he wanted both. I know some believers who live lives the same way. Then the wonder why they struggle in their walk with God. It is a constant battle for them to be victorious when it comes to the spiritual battles. The issue is they are double minded and God tells us that those who are double-minded are unstable in all their ways. Unstable people are not very successful because they often lack commitment to anything. When people get serious about God and begin to search for Him and His plan for their lives, they begin to see His blessings in their lives and He can then begin to use them in ways they never thought possible. They need to seek Him and His kingdom and then all these things will be added to them. God has some great blessings for each person but they will never receive them unless they go after God with their whole heart. Oh what people miss out on from God simply because they want to settle for less than what God has for them.

I never did see how the robin made out in his quandry. I will never know whether or not he got he worm or the bug. What about you? Which are you going after in your life? Are you going hard after the worm or are you settling for the bug? I trust that you don't settle for less but want what God has for you here on earth and in your future home of Heaven! I kept telling the robin to take the worm! So I will say the same thing to you! Take the worm!

What IsTruth?

What is truth? This question has been asked by many people throughout the ages and it is as important to know the answer now as it has in the years past. Today many folks say truth is relative. They believe that truth is what you think it is. They believe that truth is not black or white or that it cannot be defined for society by anyone or any group. The funny thing is though when believers share the "Truth" with people they get offended. They tells us that we need to keep our opinions to ourselves because our truth is no more truth than their "truth". So once I again I ask the same question Pilate put to Jesus when he was being accused by the religious rulers.

The world's standards continue to change or evolve as many like too call it. The standards change when a group of people demand their rights to live the way they want to live even when it goes against the norms or the standards which have always been in accordance with God's standards. So to make people "happy" the lawmakers pass laws that allow and even normalize certain behaviors. The problem is that these folks may think that they are now free to live anyway they want but the sad fact is that there is a day coming when they will face judgment for their sin. I don't care what the sin is that they embrace. Every sin will be judged by God. But whose standard will He use to judge people who have rejected His Son and the gift of eternal life that He offered? It will not be the world's but His own! You see His truth will prevail and the "truth" of this world will pass away. The world has been buying into the lies that Satan has been selling to mankind ever since the Garden of Eden. He told Adam and Eve that they wouldn't die if they ate from the tree God told them not to eat its fruit. We know who was right and who was wrong! The problem is people continue to believe the lies Satan puts out. People ignore God's truth and die holding onto the world's "truth" and face God's judgment. The only way to know what lies are is to know what the truth really is! God tells us in His Word what real truth is and tells us how to live the according to that truth. We need to speak out the "Truth" no matter what the world may tells us. Remember that we have the words of life that the people need so desperately needs to hear! God loves the people of this world and doesn't want anyone to perish but all come to repentance and eternal life! The only way that happens is to share the Truth with the lost and dying world. Let's not be wimps but let us take a bold stand and share the Good News with everyone who will listen!

Must of us who are believers can remember when we came to Christ and how we may have looked upon the Truth before we came to that place where finally accepted it. Don't ever pass up the opportunity to share God's Truth with unbelievers. Don't forget that they are already lost and going into a Christless eternity so even if they don't want to believe you need to tell them the Truth they need to hear! It's only too late after they pass from this life!

Tolerance Redefined

As most folks have heard by now, a professional basketball player has decided to come out and declare that he is a homosexual. I am sure that there are others as well not just in basketball but all the other sports too. The issue is not the fact that they are gay or lesbians but that they take pride in it. The issue now is what was once considered abnormal and perverted has now become "normal, healthy and acceptable in today's society by the liberals and the radicals. The problem lies in the fact that we as Christians still hold to the belief that what God called a sin in the past is still a sin today. The left and the liberal media calls anyone who holds that world view are intolerant and bigots. But why is tolerance only something that liberals can have while Christians are "intolerant"?

An ESPN analyst was interviewed about the player's admission as to his homosexuality. I believe that this particular analyst was chosen for the fact that they knew he is a Christian and would take the stand that he believes homosexuality was sin as all sex outside marriage is! He stated simply what the Bible has affirmed all along. God does not change his nature nor His standards. So when we as Christians take a stand for righteousness , we get attacked and called "intolerant" because we disagree with someone who has a different view  of what we call sin. They don't like the term 'sin" so they refuse to accept it and what it reveals about themselves. It really doesn't matter what the issue is just as long as Christians speak out against something that society claims is good we will always be called intolerant. Those on the opposing side call us intolerant yet we are not allowed to speak our mind or express our beliefs which tells me they are not being very "tolerant" of us. They claim we need to accept them and their views and dare not speak against them because we are evil and intolerant. The world has always changed and is still changing and not for the better. Sin is becoming more rampant in today's world but I am reminded that God tells us through the Apostle Paul where sin abounds Grace abounds even more! And thank God for His grace! We will need His grace even more than we do now as His return is closer than ever. The  Enemy wants to try and shut us up but we need to speak even louder now no matter what they may call us!

The really sad part about this is the fact we have the truth that the world needs to hear and yet when we try to share the truth we get told to shut up! We can no longer sit back but we need to stand up and not give up, shut up, back off, give in, or compromise. We must remember that we need to reach the lost because they  need to hear truth or they will be lost for all eternity if we don't "preach the  Word" and sometimes even use words! Remember that we are in a war and we cannot lose because our commander in chief is God Himself! Let's speak the Truth in love!

Who Wants to Be A Hero?

When someone says the word hero, who pops into your mind right away? If you like sandwiches you might think of one of them! Maybe it is a sports hero like Kurt Warner or Reggie White! Maybe you think of a military hero like General Macarthur or Custer. You might even think of the firemen who went into the Twin Towers on 9/11! When it comes to the church, we too have our heroes as well. Ask someone about a church hero and you will hear names like the Apostle Paul, Peter, Dwight L Moody and Billy Graham. But can I tell you that I personally know some heroes of the faith you may have never heard of or may never know who they are here.

You see I know some heroes like Janet King. I even know Paul and Karen Hollis. I can even say that I know Patty Mixon and Beth Klinger. Have you ever heard of John Lyter? Most people haven't. Kevin Luzier may be another person you don't know anything about. My sister Kathie and Shetel Putt aren't anyone  that folks would say they know either.  But yet these folks are all heroes in not only my eyes but even more so in God's eyes. Have they ever preached to thousands at a crusade leading hundreds to Christ? Have they ever written a book on theology or other topic that has revolutionized  the world or its thoughts? But what do they have in common with Billy Graham and the Apostle Paul? Simply this! They serve God faithfully each week teaching kids that Jesus loves them and help them to show their love back to Jesus! They are doing what God has called them to do and disciplining the children to become more like Christ. A hero is someone who doesn't always set to be a hero. They are simply ones who in the midst of a situation sees something that needs to be done and does it and sometimes if it may cost them a great price. A hero steps up and does what is necessary to accomplish a task. I can tell you that most Medal Of Honor recipients didn't do what they did just so they could get the medal! They did what they did to simply save the lives of others who were with them. Just as Christ laid down His life for ours, they stepped up and put themselves in harms way. Well today we are in a spiritual warfare for people's lives and God is calling us to step and be heroes for His kingdom. It doesn't take much to be a hero. Step up and tell God that you are willing to commit to do the work He has ordained for you and do it!  The heroes of the faith throughout the Scriptures were just ordinary people that God used for His purpose and helped them to do His work.

You see these folks are indeed heroes in my eyes. Only John Lyter has gone on to receive his reward for his faithfulness while the others are still here and serving God doing what He has called them to do. So I only want to know  one thing from you after you have read this.  Are you being a hero or are you sitting this battle out letting others fight the fight? If so, how about standing up and becoming a hero so one day you will hear the words from Christ Himself "Well done good and faithful servant"!

I would also like to take this time to say thank you for the current military and veterans who have served and placed themselves in harm's way to protect and preserve our freedom. Many have paid the ultimate price and are indeed true heroes. Thank You from a fellow veteran!

The World's Worst Disaster

This weekend I was watching the History Channel and  I saw a series on disasters that have occurred here on earth over the years. They talked about earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, meteors and tsunamis. They talked about how they devastated all different places and cost the lives of thousands of people. They even went on to say how we are facing new threats and even worse disasters from this planet. They were trying to figure out which was the world's worst disaster. As I watched the show, I thought about it and realized that they missed the world's worst disaster of all time. The world's worst disaster took place in a small secluded place called the Garden of Eden.

You see the world's worst disaster happened when there was only two people on the planet. The disaster proved to have involved the whole Earth. The disaster of which I speak is the disaster which occurred when Adam in his folly ate the fruit from the tree which Eve gave him. He took a bite then everything in history was changed from that very moment on. Adam sinned against God and now faced the curse of death and separation from God. From that moment, this world and everyone that followed Adam and Eve were changed because of this "disaster". Talk about a world wide disaster with far reaching effects! Ever since then this world has been groaning waiting for its redemption. Mankind has been impacted by sin in every conceivable way you can think. Mankind was not destined for death but everlasting life and in an ongoing relationship with his Creator. Sickness and death entered the world because of sin. What God made perfect man ruined with his disobedience. It wasn't long after this that hatred and murder followed when Cain became angry and killed Abel. Man's nature towards sin became the norm and mankind became so corrupt and evil that God made the choice to end mankind's existence. But one man, Noah, found grace in God's eyes. God flooded the entire Earth until the last mountain peaks were covered with water. Mankind continued its existence through Noah and his family. Today we face the same type of world Noah did. Some people do not realize that judgment is coming from God and that when he does bring judgment that no mega disaster will even come close to comparing to that! We need to be like Noah and warn this generation that God will not tarry forever when it comes to holding back His judgment.

Noah faced ridicule from the people around him while he was building the ark. But he never let their jeering stop him from completing the boat. After all, he knew he couldn't swim! So he finished the ark then took his family on board and remained safe while everyone else perished off the face of the Earth. So I guess my question to you is this. Are you right with God and ready for His coming or you preoccupied with the things of this world and ignoring the warnings? Just remember the question Bill Cosby asked when he did he did his Noah skit. God asked Noah "How long can you tread water"?

Life Without Daddy Can Still Be Great

Today is February 2nd and once again people want to talk about a rodent named Phil and what he has to say about this winter. I wnoder what the "big rat" would say if he could talk? Maybe "Let me alone and let me get back to my sleeping"! For me this day holds memories which go far beyond a groundhog. As you remember from a previous blog, my mother was healed of MS on this day in 1969 and it was my father's my birthday. I never celebrate his birthday because he left when I was 2. I grew up without a father and some days I still think about that part of my life. Unfortunately, I am not the only kid who has experienced that in his or her life. But because I had my heavenly Father I made it through the trials and problems of life and have grown up.

I remember reading last year that the government did a study on the effects of children who grew up without a father present in their lives. (This was a survey that I must have been missed by those doing it!) They studied numerous people who had a single mother raising them to see what effect it had on their upbringing. They spent a lot of money and came to a startling conclusion. A child that grows up without their dad have all types of issues they deal with. They concluded that a father has a major impact on the life of a child! Wow! They spent millions of dollars to figure that out! I could have told them that for free! So could everyone else that grew up without a father present in their home. But I must admit that I have not turned like a lot of people did who grew up without a father. You see my mother knew God and raised me to understand a very important truth. Even though I did did not have an earthly father to raise me, I did have a heavenly Father that was there for me and loved me unconditionally and had a plan for my life. He was never absent but was there every step of the way for me. His acceptance of me was not based on if I could do certain things well like sports but He loves me as I am. yet like any good father does, God desires that I become more like Him. I am reminded of the commercial where the boy is washing the car like his dad then picks up a cigarette because his dad did. When I follow God's example, it is all good! So as I look back on my life I can clearly see my heavenly Father's hand leading me because He has been there for me. His Word says that He would never leave me nor forsake me. He is true to His Word and will always be true! Some fathers tell make promises to their kids and break them. But God never breaks His promises! What a great heavenly Father we serve!

Did you grow up without a father and have problems because of it? I can promise you that you too have a heavenly Father that loves you with an everlasting love. It is never too late to turn to Him and let Him direct your life's path. I assure you that He will be there and turn your life around and make something great out of your life! He has done a great job in my life and look what He had to work with!

An Anniversary to Forget

All of us have anniversaries that we love to remember. We celebrate birthdays, our wedding anniversary or maybe even the anniversary date for our job so we don't forget to check about a pay raise! Then we also have those which we remember that cause us pain  as we we recall them. All of us remember 9-11's anniversary because it is embellished in our hearts and lives especially for those who lost loved ones and friends. We recall the dates and seasons when we lost our loved ones. This week we are reminded of another anniversary of an event that took place 40 years ago in this nation. Roe V Wade made abortion on demand legal and has caused the death of untold millions of unborn children in this once great nation.

The sad thing about this whole issue of abortion is that it is founded on lies and false claims. The person who brought this holocaust to the forefront did so only to push the liberal agenda of a "woman's right" to choose. Why didn't the woman opt not to have sex in the first place and not get pregnant? Instead they choose poorly and then blame their behavior and actions on an unborn child and take his or her life to fix the problem. 98 percent of the abortions performed are  done so for one reason. The pregnancies are not convenient for the mothers and in some cases for the girl's parents. Do some rapes and incest end up causing pregnancies? Do some mothers face possible death because of their pregnancies? In some cases they do but those cases are not even 2-3 percent of the abortions that are performed. Sadly groups like Planned Parenthood claim to represent and defend a woman's right to choose. They offer a way out for women  who do not want to take responsibility for what they have done. God's heart breaks every time an unborn child dies (actually murdered ) in the womb because of an abortion. God gave that child life and people choose to take it from the child. How long can we stand back and not take a stand for what is right? We need to speak up for the unborn since they can't defend themselves! God forgive us for the way we have allowed these lives to be stilled and treated like garbage! Planned Parenthood does abortion for one reason and one reason only! They make money off these abortions and claim they do it because they care about the women. We need to end federal and state monies given to them. If we did that, think about the lives we would save and the women who would not suffer emotionally because of their choice to end a life.

As I think about all the children (not just fetuses ) that were murdered over the years, I wonder how many of them would have been the one who found a cure for cancer or found the cure for AIDS or some other horrible disease? We can only imagine how some of children could have changed and impacted this world for man's betterment. Sadly we will never know because they never had the chance to live their lives for God's glory or this world's improvement. Please if your mother and father are still alive , thank them for not choosing to take your life! I know I thanked my mother all the time because I was unexpected!
